National Museum
The
National Museum of Cambodia is perhaps one of the largest museum housing a rich
heritage of Cambodia since several ages. The museum showcases almost 14,000plus
artefacts from the prehistoric times to the Khmer reign. It has some
interesting collection from the Khmer reign in Bronze, ethnographic and
ceramic.

collection of literatures, sculptures and other artefacts related to Hinduism
and Buddhism
Ø The National
Museum also conducts several religious gathering and is a place of worship due

see the evolution of the rich Cambodian heritage since the prehistoric days
till the Khmer rule and beyond

mammoth gallery of an assembly of one thousand Buddhas.
How to get to
National Museum
The
fascinating national Museum is adjacent to the Siem Reap River and a mere 4
minute tuk-tuk ride from the airport. It is very close by to the Old market and
the lively Pub Street.

Ø Visitors to the
National Museum can approach the gates on street 13 and 178.
Ø Museum was
inaugurated in 1920.
Entrance Fee
The
entrance fee for children us US$ 12 and for children is US$ 6. An audio tour is
available at an additional US$ 3 per head.
Working hours: 8.30am to
6.00pm from 1st October to 30th April every year.
